Our vision is to create a loving and secure environment, where making choices, mistakes and trying things out are valued and celebrated. Children interact in a programme of fully inclusive activities, developing an awareness of self worth and confidence that will stay with them for life.
We hope this site will help to give a flavour of our family friendly service but we have no doubt that you will have many questions before you make that all important decision. If we can be of any further assistance, please don't hesitate to pop in or call us up on 01328862422. We look forward to meeting you.
About Us
Over the last 25 years, Fakenham Children's Centre has grown from a setting with three members of staff, to a Centre that cares for over one hundred local families and employs in excess of 20 early years educators, a chef and a cleaner. Ofsted (2024) recognises that children flourish in this Setting where staff put children at the heart of what they do.
This 63 place setting is divided into three age appropriate rooms. The Sunflower Room offers a calm and nurturing space for up to six babies under the age of 24 months. The Caterpillar Room, houses up to 24 2-3 year olds and The Butterfly Room offers up to 32 children over the age of three years a careful balance of care and education, promoting confidence and independence in a fun and developmentally appropriate environment.
Fakenham Children's Daycare Centre is committed to their pursuit for excellence in all areas of the Nursery and works with a wide range of professionals and parents to ensure that all children benefit from a collaborative approach to learning.
There is always a project at Fakenham Children's Centre. Thanks to the commitment of our fundraising team, we welcome new and exciting outdoor play equipment. If you would like to be involved in any of our Projects be sure to ask Michaela or Louise and they will happily show you their plans. We are always looking for new members to join our voluntary fund raising committee.
Government Funding
As an Ofsted Registered Setting, we are able to accept a number of Government initiatives available to help fund the cost of daycare.
